The given pie chart illustrates various factors which degraded global land, while the table provides information about their impact on certain 3 regions, namely, North America, Europe and Oceania, observed during the period of 19 century. Figures are given in percentage. It is readily apparent that excessive feeding animals adversely affect worldwide land quality.
To begin with, 35% of land degradation caused by over feeding animals, while forest clearance is the second significant factor with the proportion of 30%. In addition, the figure for over cultivation is four times higher than other factors, with 25% and 7% respectively.
Concerning a variety of cause which had an impact on three region, it is clearly that 28 percent of Europe area was degraded, mainly dueto 98% of forest logging. At the same period, Oceania 13% of their land are degraded, mostly owing to over-grazing animals with the percentage of 11.3, while deforestation minimally affect its land at 1.7%. Furthermore, slightly proportion of North America land had lessen its fruitfulness with 5%, mainly because of over-farmland at 3.3%. However, this cause had no effect on Oceania.
Overall, it can be seen that Europe land had been aggravated extensively, comparing to other regions, causing largely by deforestation and too much agriculture.
