The given graph and table illustrates about global water use in by three settings sectors between 1900 and 2000, and water consumption in two areas in 2000. Overall, it is apparent that the trend of water use worldwide soarsed continuously.
It can be seen from the graph that the largest amount of water used was for agricultural purposes. There was a double rise in the mid-century; moreover, at the end of the period observed, it dramatically soared to 3000 km3. The figure of water consumption in by the commercial industry stabilized for 50 years and sharply increased by 300 km3 in the 2000. In domestic sector, the number volume of water use remained under 100 km3 from 1900 to 1970 and gradually went up to 200 km3.
As the table contrasts, there was the highest amount of water used for each person was in Brazil, which had a higher more population and irrigated area than Congo. wWhereas each individual in the D.R.C consumed water nearly 45 fold times less water than Brazil.
On the whole, the water consumption in all sectors became increased throughout the decades. The highest was in the agricultural sector followed by industrial and domestic use.

IELTS Examiner Comments : Student, some of your data was incorrectly described and your adverbs were wrongly chosen. The overall observation was excellent and I would have liked to see more descriptive analysis, but on the whole, this was a decent task 1. Be careful with “whereas” (used to join two clauses.) More revision is needed with the use of articles and plurals too.
