Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
There are a lot of critics on punishments for crime: should it be fixed for each type of crime or circumstances and must motivation are be also taken into consideration.? This essay will examine both side of the issue and my opinion will be provided.
One reason supporting in support of fixed punishment is that it creates a standard which leads to disciplinary society. When people know what certain punishments they will get face if they do the commit wrong thing a crime, they are afraid and avoid doing that. I personally think that penaltyies should be fixed for some particular crimes; if you have intentionally killed someone, you deserve the death penalty without any exceptions. Moreover, with fixed punishments, it is fair for criminals: Once they do the same violations are convicted, they get equal penalties, so this helps to eliminatinge bias perception during the judgment process. It’s also very delicate to include all factors such as a criminal thoughts background or situations into consideration: no one can be sure if the punishment is fairly given or not.
On the other hand, some say circumstances and motivation for doing crime breaking the law should be taken in to consideration when giving punishment. Due to the fact that people were born unequally: in different environments, some get everything they want without asking or doing while other are not. Some who struggle for to earn a living whit under lots of pressure have more a greater chance to become criminals. If they have a choice, I think they will not doing such things. So would not go down that route. Therefore, maybe we cannot just blame on criminals but rather consider what are the indeed reasons for making crime are behind their actions.
Overall, I personally think that giving certain fixed punishments for crimes is better in order to promote a peaceful and unbiased society.

IELTS Examiner’s Comment:
Student, this was a difficult topic which demands a lot of collocations. I’ve rephrased a lot of them for you. Words like ‘commit’, ‘convict’, ‘break the law’, ‘face’, etc. are all expected to be used. Every line has errors present, so I think you need to review your grammar further. Don’t overuse the colon (:), maximum once! Where are your examples?
