The graph provides information about the number of citizens aged 65 and over, given in percentages, from 1940 to 2040. It can be seen that the proportion of senile elderly people in the USA, Sweden and Japan increases dramatically over the 100 – year period.
The expansion of old senior Americans and Swedish Swedes were identical, regarding the ratio, between 1940 and 1980. With respect to Swedishes Swedes, the figure at 7%, then to 14% in 1980 while the figure of aging Americans started at 8% and also went up to 15% in the same year. However, there was a decrease in the proportion of senior Japanese in the same period.
Furthermore, there are many interesting changes in the three countries from 1990 to 2020. Firstly, the percentage of old people in the USA experienced remained at a stable level at 14% between 1990 and 2010. Meanwhile, the others have a considerable increase in population proportion. Another interesting point is the percentage of old people in the three countries in the future. It can be foreseen that the old population will rise markedly in the next 30 years, especially Japan; a dramatic rise will be apparent in the number of senile senior citizens people, from 7% to 27%
Overall, over the 19th 20th and 20th 21th century observed, the population in the USA, Sweden and Japan were still rise and will on the rise. In the future, the largest population of the three countries is in Japanese with at the percentage of 27 in 2040.

IELTS Examiner’s Comments: This was a very good report! The only advice I’d have for you is to vary vocabulary more often. In other words, bring in your own vocab. (preferably collocations) from your knowledge. The word ‘senile’ is not appropriate here, but the grammar was well done.
