Thai students interested in studying in the Netherlands will be able to submit applications direct to nine higher-educational institutes at an educational fair in Bangkok this month.
The placement event will take place on October 27 at the Novotel Hotel Siam Square, from noon till 5pm.
Taking part are Rotterdam Business School, the Hague University of Applied Sciences, the University of Groningen, Stenden University of Applied Sciences, Wageningen University, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Tilburg University, Van Hall Larenstein (part of Wageningen University), and Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Interested students can seek information or submit their applications to the representatives from these leading universities at the event.
The University of Groningen, which was founded in 1614, has enjoyed international reputation as one of the oldest and leading research universities in Europe. It has offered over 90 English-taught degree programmes at Bachelor, Master, and PhD level in virtually every field.
However, the upcoming Dutch institutions’ placement day in Bangkok is for students planning to enrol in programmes for bachelor’s and master degrees only.
If they wish to submit their applications, they will have to bring along their high-school diploma, their grades report (transcript), their statement of purpose/motivation letter, and their English test result such as IELTS (if available).
The first 100 visitors to the event will get free movie tickets.
According to the Hague University of Applied Sciences, international students who come to study in the Netherlands are offered a job-seeking year after their graduation should they wish to stay on.
